NEW ADDITION TO SENSITES SUCCESSFUL WIRELESS LOCAL TRACING AND TELEMETRY SOLUTIONS SECURES VALUABLE ASSETS
Eindhoven, the Netherlands, April 27 2003 - Sensite Solutions, leading provider of wireless local tracing and telemetry solutions, today introduces the BN123 Intelligent Tag. This versatile, miniature tag in the LogiSphere system is equipped with magnet-sensitive reed contacts. The BN123 Intelligent Tag is designed for real-time and continuous monitoring of assets that are susceptible to theft or loss.
Security Oriented
"The BN123 further expands the possibilities of our successful LogiSphere system that is designed for effective insight in, and control of logistical processes", comments Jan Vet, co-founder of Sensite Solutions. "It can, for instance, be employed to monitor assets in location based implementations, as well as to supervise assets moving throughout global supply chains. Added to our LogiSphere system, for instance, the BN123 can be used to further secure storage-boxes or containers during transport or in warehouses."
New possibilities
Besides usage in logistical applications, the security oriented BN123 offers a wide variety of new possibilities. Companies can for example monitor the gateways of their premise wirelessly. When the gateway is open, a signal can automatically be sent to a predefined person or department.
Another good example is its usage in marinas, where it can be used to protect e.g. outboard motors or the entrance hatch of yachts. The LogiSphere system can automatically generate an alarm as soon as the hatch is illegally opened, or the outboard motor is removed. This alarm can be sent to predefined people via sms, e-mail or any other communication infrastructure. In this way, the LogiSphere system enables immediate intervention instead of discovering the damage afterwards.
